The Commissioning Manager will help lead Commissioning (Cx) projects, managing all aspects of Cx projects (LEED, CALGreen, Retro Cx). This role requires a commitment to making a positive social and environmental impact daily. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of building commissioning, MEP system design, or MEP construction management experience.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Capability to independently run all aspects of a project, from kickoff to completion.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, document control, and ability to create polished deliverable reports.
  • Strong data/information management skills, including ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, organize and correlate findings, and translate that information into client deliverables.
  • Good organizational skills, fastidious attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for frequent site visits.
  • Ability to climb ladders, navigate scaffolding, work at heights, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on active construction sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or other commissioning credential.
  • Energy audit experience.
  • Energy modeling experience.
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • OSHA 10-hour certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Commissioning (Cx) projects, including LEED, CALGreen, and Retro Cx.
  • Perform commissioning tasks, including execution of functional performance tests.
  • Conduct commissioning site visits during construction.
  • Manage all project management tasks without manager review.
  • Support a wide variety of green building commissioning services.
