ICMS is looking for an experienced Commissioning Authority / Expert. This individual will participate in all project commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years commissioning experience
  • Experience reviewing commissioning plans, specifications, submittals, and test procedures.
  • Experience witnessing and documenting pre-functional and functional performance testing.
  • Experience preparing commissioning reports, deficiency logs, and project closeout documentation.
  • Experience working directly with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and facility operations personnel.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
  • It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures commissioning activities to include review of contractors proposed plan, verification and monitoring of testing, troubleshooting failures and review of final submission.
  • Assists all parties in achieving Commissioning goals for the program by providing technical and procedure oversight during all phases of projects
