Behind every great meal is a powerful engine—our Haymarket Commissary. We are looking for a Commissary Production Manager to be the operational mastermind of our production hub. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in high-volume food production
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
  • High school diploma required
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification required (or ability to acquire within 30 days)
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems, preferably inFlow Inventory
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures
  • Maintain a valid driver's license for commuting needs

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent multi-department management experience
  • HACCP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build accurate plans aligned with retail, cafe, wholesale, and catering demand to ensure on-time fulfillment with minimal waste.
  • Maintain facility compliance with internal quality standards and FDA Food Code regulations.
  • Keep production teams operating with high clarity, accountability, and smooth cross-functional engagement.
  • Coordinate production for Savory, Beverage, Packaging, and Bakeshop teams, and manage orders using inFlow Inventory.
  • Coach department managers, support staff scheduling, and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Control labor and food costs to reduce waste, run weekly health inspections, and maintain strict SOP and HACCP records.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory replenishment across top-tier platforms.
  • Align kitchen production timelines with catering schedules, retail demand, and delivery capacities.
