About The Position

Keefe Commissary Network, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is hiring an operations team member to support commissary services in a correctional environment. The role is onsite in a jail or correctional facility and involves working around and directly with inmates. Employees are provided PPE. The position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and reports to the Operations Manager.

The Commissary Representative helps provide commissary operations and services at an assigned prison location. Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay every Thursday and regular pay raises based on performance and experience levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, one to three months of related training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous retail, grocery, or warehouse experience.
• Experience with Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to canteens at specified correctional facilities while following all rules and regulations and working under the management of a correctional officer.
• Assist the onsite manager with monthly canteen inventories.
• Keep areas, equipment, and products clean and maintain applicable American Correctional Association and American Jail Association standards.
• Attend training and annual onsite security classes, and keep certifications current.
• Help maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform other responsibilities as determined by company needs.
