About The Position
Laughing Planet is a locally owned and operated quick-service restaurant company with 10 locations in Oregon. We offer fresh, quality, nutritious food that is affordable and strive to provide a great experience for our guests and employees. We are currently hiring for a part- time Commissary Baker, at our Portland Commissary location. Schedule is Sun-Mon 12-8pm and Friday 12-8pm.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year kitchen prep and baking experience
- Knowledge of baking fundamentals
- Can perform basic kitchen math
- Attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper preparation and cooking of high quality ingredients in large batch quantities
- Read and follow recipes
- Portion ingredients
- Operate equipment such as gas ranges, and ovens safely
- Lift 50 lbs. and perform physical maneuvers such as kneeling, squatting and using step stools
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
