About The Position
Cook Hard. Play Harder. Tired of the same old city kitchen grind? Trade the concrete jungle for the absolute best snow on earth. Goldminer's Daughter Lodge at the base of Alta Ski Area is looking for a Commis Chef for the 2026–27 winter season (mid-Nov through mid-April). This isn't a normal job. It's a lifestyle. We're a tight-knit, hard-working crew that cooks killer food for hungry adventurers, and then gets outside together. You'll make $17/hour + tips (avg 40 hrs/week) and score ski-in, ski-out access right from our front door.
Requirements
- Real hustle and some culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- The ability to lift 50 lbs
- High school diploma/GED
- Legal U.S. work authorization
Responsibilities
- Prepping and plating epic meals in our Main Kitchen.
- Set up your station.
- Keep things safe and clean.
- Learn advanced prep tricks from our seasoned chefs.
