Requirements

Previous painting or building maintenance experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of a team.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to interact respectfully with older adults and coworkers.
Willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and learn new skills.
Ability to participate in an on-call and snow removal rotation.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
All candidates must go through a background check.

Responsibilities

Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and related finishing work throughout Taylor Community.
Help maintain the appearance and condition of buildings across our campuses.
Perform general maintenance and repair services as needed.
Respond to work requests and maintain accurate, detailed records of completed work.
Assist with keeping buildings safe, well-maintained, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, staff, contractors, and members of the Facilities team.
Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to complete projects and address maintenance needs.
Participate in our on-call rotation and assist with snow plowing and winter weather response as needed.
