About The Position

This is a full-time position. A Commercial Vehicle Painter is responsible for prepping, sanding, and painting Dejana trucks and vans. Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes. Mix all types of paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity, and consistency. Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary in paint, or other processes. Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary. Light bodywork may be required. Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Capability to be detail oriented and organized
Capability to be self-motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools
Eligible to work in the US

Nice To Haves

1-3 years’ experience in the painting of automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop
