About The Position

This position is responsible for performing frame-up restorations on tractors and straight trucks, as well as skilled maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and fleet equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with DOT and OSHA standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, and completing preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.

Requirements

Comprehensive understanding of vehicle/equipment repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in diagnosing and executing mechanical repairs using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
Capability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stress management skills.
Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
High school diploma or equivalent; or Minimum of five years’ experience in vehicle/equipment repair and maintenance; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

CDL A license, preferred but not required.
