About The Position

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the position of a Rental Agent. This role is primarily indoors (95%) with some outdoor responsibilities (5%). The ideal candidate will be confident, possess a strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, and be adept at managing customer interactions. This position involves matching vehicle demand with availability, ensuring complete customer satisfaction, and offers opportunities for growth within a stable, family-owned company.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in transportation rental and leasing required
Strong data entry skills
Strong customer service skills
Microsoft Excel experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Requires ability to get in & out of commercial trucks.
Ability to work independently, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Customer interaction (in-person, email, phone, etc.)
Going out on sales calls and meeting potential clients
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report any issues found
Fleet Management and Inventory
Billing
Open/Close Rental Agreements
Daily rental check in/out
Generate reports
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Fuel island inspections
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Work with Sales team within the company.
