About The Position
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the position of a Rental Agent. This role is 5% outdoors and 95% indoors. We are looking for confident individuals with a customer service orientation, strong interpersonal and telephone skills, who can provide front line contact with customers, match vehicle demand with availability, have a desire for growth, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in transportation rental and leasing required
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Microsoft Excel experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires ability to get in & out of commercial trucks.
- Ability to work independently, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.
- Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Customer interaction (in-person, email, phone, etc.)
- Going out on sales calls and meeting potential clients
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report any issues found
- Fleet Management and Inventory
- Billing
- Open/Close Rental Agreements
- Daily rental check in/out
- Generate reports
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
- Fuel island inspections
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Work with Sales team within the company.
