About The Position

Thompson Northeast Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Producer to join our growing team. This role focuses on working with owner-operators, independent drivers, and small to mid-sized trucking companies to provide insurance solutions that protect their businesses and keep them compliant on the road. Our agency is part of the broader Team Thompson network, which includes title & tag services, DOT compliance, and transportation-related services. This gives our insurance team a unique advantage when building relationships with trucking clients.

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance License required
Experience working with commercial insurance accounts
Prior experience selling or servicing commercial trucking insurance strongly preferred
Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities within the commercial trucking and transportation industry
Work directly with owner-operators and trucking companies to quote and bind insurance coverage
Quote commercial trucking policies including: Auto liability Physical damage Cargo coverage General liability Umbrella coverage
Maintain strong client relationships and assist with renewals and policy changes
Work with insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage options
Help clients understand coverage requirements related to DOT and regulatory compliance
