About The Position

As a Commercial Territory Manager, you will drive revenue growth by building strong relationships with new and existing customers within your assigned territory. In this consultative sales role, you'll identify customer needs, recommend industry-leading HVAC solutions, and deliver exceptional service that creates long-term partnerships. You'll be responsible for expanding market share, managing a portfolio of local accounts, and strategically developing new business opportunities while representing the Lennox brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively listen, influence, negotiate, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, product presentations, solution selling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service, understanding customer needs, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Intermediate knowledge of commercial HVAC products, industry practices, or the ability to quickly develop product expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow your assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and recommend the right products, solutions, and services based on technical requirements, application needs, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing, sales proposals, contracts, and service agreements to achieve profitable growth.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring a smooth sales process and providing ongoing support that drives customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly territory and account plans to achieve sales objectives and maximize market potential.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, resolve customer issues, and deliver best-in-class service.
  • Share knowledge and best practices while providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced sales team members as needed.
