About The Position

Join Our Team as a Commercial/Tech Trans Attorney at Axiom. We are seeking a Commercial/Tech Transactions Attorney to support our client, a large electronics company, in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions while managing key legal operations initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with business, compliance, and privacy teams to drive efficient deal execution, mitigate risk, and support strategic technology initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of in-house legal experience preferred
Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
Experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial transactions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Experience supporting strategic initiatives involving digital products, hardware, technology platforms, and AI-related regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage legal operations for the legal affairs team, including outside counsel management, contract management systems, new vendor onboarding and evaluation, and the integration of VIZIO/Walmart systems and processes.
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial transaction agreements, including vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and online terms and conditions.
Own the full lifecycle of commercial transactions, from initial intake through negotiation and execution.
Partner cross-functionally with business, compliance, and privacy teams to support deal execution and risk mitigation.
Support strategic initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including matters involving digital products, hardware, technology platforms, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance.
