The Commercial Support Specialist provides essential support to both internal and external customers by assisting with product inquiries, quotations, availability checks, and order processing for Roxtec products and components. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in commercial support and customer service.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and solution-minded.
  • Good organization and time management skills required.
  • Capable of making independent decisions and working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mathematical, technical, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledgeable in the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous inside sales or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing accurate quotations based on customer requirements using established guidelines.
  • Apply basic understanding of pricing structures and company policies to support quotation development.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Design, and Engineering teams under guidance to gather necessary information for quotes.
  • Respond to standard customer inquiries and follow up on submitted quotations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide courteous and professional support to internal and external customers, helping resolve routine issues and escalating complex ones as needed.
  • Prepare routine documentation for order processing and conduct basic stock checks to support customer and sales team needs.
  • Enter and maintain customer data and RFQs in the CRM system, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and follow-up tracking.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to maintain a balanced workflow and support team goals.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned to support departmental operations.
