Commercial Structural Foreman
About The Position
Dedicated team is seeking an experienced Commercial Structural Foreman! We are men and women who believe it requires investment to be great. Although many will never see what is below their flooring, we take great pride in providing the highest quality concrete foundation that not only looks great but will withstand the test of time. Our team always has top of the line equipment and software to ensure a smooth process. We have been serving Colorado Springs builders, general contractors, and homeowners for 29+ years and are looking forward to many more. This is a great opportunity to lead a crew and be hands on. You will manage day to day job details for assigned projects; manage crews in the field to supervise efficiency and labor costs; manage job equipment/tools/materials, etc. The overall purpose is to manage the job’s day-to-day operations to ensure budget management, proper staffing and project overall success!
Requirements
- Excellent leadership qualities.
- Extensive experience in Concrete Foundations/Flatwork.
- Proficient in understanding, reading and interpreting plans.
- Strong communication/organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to set goals and tasks.
- Team player with everyone involved in the success of each job.
- Ability to remain calm, focused and make the right decision under pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Setting an example of great leadership.
- Understanding project scope for successful project completion.
- Managing crews, daily tasks, budget, materials/tools, etc.
- Communicating daily with your Superintendent.
- Completing daily logs/production sheets.
- Following through with added project site tasks.
- Complying with all safety policies and practices.
- Containing project cost and risk management.
