About the Role: We are hiring a Commercial Strategy and Business Operations Director to join our team. In this individual contributor role, working directly with Color’s President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, you will have three main responsibilities: Translate Color’s products and services into an effective and successful go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and support our efforts around them. Support the development, design and MVP execution for new products and services that Color launches based on market feedback, competitive landscape, and long term strategic goals from Color, and help successfully bring them to market. Work with our product and service leads to develop, track, report and validate the outcomes that matter for our customers and buyers in the market so we can prove our business case in our GTM efforts using a mix of Color’s book of business data as well as customer data (e.g., claims). This is a highly visible role within the GTM team, and is expected to work cross-functionally with GTM, Operations, Product and Clinical leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in strategy and business operations, management consulting, strategic finance, or commercial strategy.
  • Experience working on high priority projects with executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Experience developing or using AI tools that have helped you and your team work better and more effectively.
  • Excited for taking on ambiguous, challenging problems and fully owning their resolution and outcomes by yourself.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, and are able to create a sense of urgency and rally teams to meet program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Translate Color’s products and services into an effective and successful go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and support our efforts around them.
  • Support the development, design and MVP execution for new products and services that Color launches based on market feedback, competitive landscape, and long term strategic goals from Color, and help successfully bring them to market.
  • Work with our product and service leads to develop, track, report and validate the outcomes that matter for our customers and buyers in the market so we can prove our business case in our GTM efforts using a mix of Color’s book of business data as well as customer data (e.g., claims).
  • Become a deep expert on the cancer benefits market and competitive landscape, understanding what cancer patients, benefits managers buyers, and consultants need and are looking for in the market.
  • Work with Color’s leadership to think through how to strategically position and sell Color’s services in the market, including end-to-end thinking of service development, expected outcomes, core differentiators, and effective business models.
  • Own and drive Color’s long term service design strategy and development that will increase customer stickiness and revenue, including competitive and market analysis, opportunity identification, service design development, pricing, market framing and differentiation, and translation into operational delivery.
  • Lead the thinking on how to continuously innovate and build new services that keep Color the leading Cancer benefits company relative to competitors and market expectations.
  • Get feedback and input from buyers and customers to refine service definition.
  • Work cross-functionally across teams to build and deliver an MVP to track impact and outcomes.
  • Develop thesis on pricing and selling strategy, in partnership with our Go To Market leadership.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and gather critical feedback from customers and patients to improve patient experience and outcomes, customer outcomes (e.g. ROI, care gap closure), and business goals (e.g. revenue, COGS, margins).
  • Partner with Commercial, Product, Operations, Medical Affairs, Color’s clinical group and other key cross-functional team members to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives and new services Colors builds and develops.
  • Work closely with the GTM team on effectively selling our products and services, joining prospect calls as needed, and supporting sales reps with help they may need on their deals.
  • Work on proposing custom program implementations for strategic jumbos, and adjusting our product and service design based on market feedback.
  • Define and communicate a tailored value proposition to specific market segments.
  • Design a custom implementation proposal for jumbo prospects.
