About The Position

This role involves developing and managing relationships with internal and external business partners, and assisting with auction operations from start to finish. The specialist will also notify customers of the latest news and assist with the coordination and execution of sale day activities. Key tasks include inputting vital vehicle information into the Application System /400 and database, establishing, updating, verifying, and maintaining vehicle and pricing files, and collaborating with the title department to ensure all necessary documents are in hand before the auction. The role requires managing vehicle inventory reports, investigating errors, verifying sale eligibility, and partnering with departments to prepare and notify customers of the sale run process. Additionally, the specialist will follow up on sale vehicle preparation, reconcile bills, contact appropriate partners for missing information and issues, communicate with the accounting team to balance sales, and perform post-sale invoicing. Administrative and clerical support, including assistance with special projects and graphics requests, is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, receptive to change and able to multitask.
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service required.
  • Must be able to operate office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).
  • Ability to clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana testing may not be administered for this position, but it is a drug-free workplace).

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • 5 years’ experience in a related field.
