We are hiring a Commercial Refrigeration and Kitchen Equipment Technician to support restaurants, hospitality, and food service operations throughout the Boston area. This is a field-based role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment. Due to strong demand in the Boston market, we are offering a competitive compensation package and moving quickly on qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • 3+ year of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance repair, or commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification
  • CFESA certification
  • Experience with commercial refrigeration systems or food service equipment
  • Ability to work independently in a field environment

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment
  • Service equipment including refrigeration, cooking, and ware-washing systems
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
  • Communicate with manufacturers for technical support and parts identification
  • Install replacement parts and complete repairs efficiently
  • Complete service documentation including work orders and inventory tracking
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and tool inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Identify and recommend preventative maintenance or additional services
