Commercial Service Technician
About The Position
The DH Pace Company, a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices located across the continental United States, is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking and security products. King Door Company, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking Commercial Door Technicians for commercial doors and door related products in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding areas. This role involves repairing a wide range of commercial doors and door hardware, identifying opportunities to provide customers with products and services, tracking and maintaining job-related paperwork, and operating in a safety-conscious manner at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
- Experience working with commercial doors including roll-up doors, high-speed doors, door hardware, dock equipment or any similarly skilled trades in the commercial construction industry
Responsibilities
- Repair a wide range of commercial doors and door hardware including roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors and commercial entry doors
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
- Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
- Other duties as assigned
