Empire Roofing Corporation is seeking an experienced Skilled Roofing Service Technician to join their growing team in the GTA. The technician will work on a variety of commercial roofing systems, tackle unique challenges every day, and have the opportunity to grow their career with one of the industry's most respected roofing contractors. The company has over 40 years of experience in commercial roofing across Canada and the United States.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience
Experience with TPO roofing systems preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions
Valid Working at Heights Certification
Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Inspect commercial roofing systems for leaks, damage, and deficiencies
Diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
Perform repairs and maintenance on TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and other commercial roofing systems
Apply sealants, patches, coatings, and waterproofing solutions
Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and photographs
Maintain company quality and safety standards on every project
Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
Assist with emergency service calls and preventative maintenance programs
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner
