About The Position

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Service Manager to provide daily direction and distribution of work orders to technicians. This role involves overseeing the work performed, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, and fostering positive teamwork. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and a passion for building teams and long-term relationships.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician
• 2-3+ years of experience assigning commercial service work orders to technicians
• Proficient in MS Office and the able to learn other software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)
• Valid Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards

Nice To Haves

• Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians.
• Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals.
• Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance and stay current with industry standards.
• Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks as needed, especially during periods of high demand or staffing shortages.
• Assist branch manager with maintaining up to date employee administrative files.
• Provide sales staff support with service quotes, product look-ups, and any customer concerns.
• Oversee customer scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties (inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing, etc.).
• Conduct daily inspection of warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment in order to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are being followed.
