Requirements

  • Candidates with Colorado Journeyman Electrician License or Reciprocating State Required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with Commercial Service and Maintenance.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Strong safety record

  • Troubleshooting Skills
  • Familiarity with electrical systems from 120/240 single phase through 480v three phase.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a willingness to adapt to any situation.
  • Familiarity with technology and a willingness to learn and adapt to various ways of communicating with the customer
  • Positive and “Can Do!” attitude, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and team player
  • Commitment to continual personal and professional growth
  • Positively identify color of wires.
  • Comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics.
  • Bend conduit by hand with hand benders.
  • Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches.
  • Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
  • Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoe, lift in safe manner.
  • Practices and comprehends safe work procedures per Company policy.
  • Operate two- (2) handed tools/ equipment cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers.
  • Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission.
  • Reads and interprets maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions.
  • Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electrical or gas powered).
  • Work on energized circuits and equipment with company management approval as outlined in Health and Safety Program.
  • Complete Equipment Training
  • Complete OSHA 30
  • Complete all Safety Certifications
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Lift 51 pounds.
  • Constantly moving your feet.
  • Climb ladders (all types).
  • Completing overhead work for full-day assignments.
  • Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of building even if the only means of access is by OSHA approved site construction ladder or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use.
  • Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
  • Responsible for securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete their assigned tasks.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual ( English & Spanish ) preferred.
  • Data, fire alarm and control familiarity are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory.
  • Ability to adapt to various working environments and make decisions based on industry best practices.
  • Understand materials specific to various work environments for sight specific installations.
  • Proficient skills in reading project drawings, submittments, and layout.
  • Possess adaptive electrical construction skillset.
  • Develop, build, and maintain exceptional customer relationships through dedication, efficiency, and determination.
  • Assist InPwr Inc. management and customer with design changes to the original scope of work.
  • Work with InPwr Inc. management to estimate field change order work.
  • Track and document change order and time & material work.
  • Maintain up to date as-built drawings and assist CAD department with design changes.
  • Maintain flexible approach to onsite design changes.
