Commercial Service Electrician
About The Position
Allied Mechanical is looking for a Journeyman Electrician who can manage jobs from start to finish. This role involves reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams to ensure accurate field installations. The electrician will also be responsible for enforcing safety standards and OSHA compliance, conducting toolbox talks, and performing site safety audits. Additionally, the role includes diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical equipment in residential and commercial settings, as well as conducting quality control inspections to ensure installations meet code and design intent.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial or residential electrical experience
- Strong working knowledge of the applicable local electrical codes
- Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specs, and RFIs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 certification
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Background in commercial, industrial, or data center electrical construction
