About The Position

Jamtek Electrical, LLC is a premier Commercial Security and Networking contractor in the Macon, Georgia area, redefining customer experiences through advanced tech solutions, great service and exceptional people. The market includes the Southeastern US and occasionally nationwide. This is a full time, on site position in Macon, Georgia. This position is not remote and is not open outside the United States. Candidates located anywhere in the United States who are willing to relocate to Middle Georgia are encouraged to apply.

The role of the Business Development / Sales Manager is to hunt for new projects, bring detailed specifications to the engineering team, present the proposal, and complete the deal with a signed contract and payment. Guidance is provided by the System Engineers and the Owner. Information is relayed to the Owners, Office Manager, Engineering and Programming so each department can prepare and plan the project. Interaction with other trades is required, including Electrical, HVAC, Lighting, Landscaping and General Contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum three [3] years of experience in commercial security, networks and low voltage electronics or a related industry.
• Low voltage system knowledge including burglar alarms, surveillance cameras, access control, voice and data networks and control systems.
• Ability to read device layout drawings, engineered schematics and architectural plans, and provide redline corrections for construction blueprints.
• Construction project knowledge including pre-wire, trim and final phases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing and able to travel on a daily basis.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• An existing book of business and/or commercial contacts.
• Solid PC and MAC computer and associated software knowledge.
• CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify new market opportunities.
• Create a Business Development plan with timelines and milestones.
• Develop a book of business and convert prospects into customers.
• Visit potential Clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services.
• Use the Company CRM daily for all activities.
• Give sales presentations to prospective Clients.
• Attend industry and association meetings to accumulate new leads.
• Update stakeholders on project status and communicate goals and expectations.
• Generate reports and performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Negotiate all contracts, prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
• Obtain deposits and balance of payment from Clients.
