As a Commercial Sales Executive, you’ll lead the charge in expanding Johnson Controls’ footprint across Altoona and Greensburg—two markets primed for growth. You’ll act as a true trusted advisor and brand ambassador, helping customers modernize their security solutions with cutting-edge technology. This is a role for a driven seller who thrives on building relationships, closing new business, and delivering long-term value to customers.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to engage senior-level decision makers
  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently
  • Local travel within territory

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of successful commercial sales experience in security, technology, or IT
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • College degree

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by developing strategic relationships and winning new commercial customers in a high-potential territory
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying upsell, add-on, and system upgrade opportunities
  • Own your territory with autonomy—develop call plans, prospecting strategies, and pipeline management
  • Be the face of Johnson Controls Security —clearly articulating our value as an industry leader in integrated security solutions
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience through post-installation follow-up and ongoing engagement to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Build a strong network through referrals, partnerships, and Centers of Influence
  • Stay ahead of the industry by maintaining deep product knowledge and understanding evolving client needs
