About The Position

Lennox is seeking a Commercial Sales Support Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting the commercial sales department by managing customer accounts, generating competitive quotes, and ensuring accurate and efficient order processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal departments, clients, and external vendors to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage daily customer quotations for commercial projects.
  • Negotiate plan and specification jobs with assigned house accounts.
  • Process customer orders, maintain order accuracy, and oversee the order fulfillment and delivery process.
  • Coordinate and manage the weekly bid schedule, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prioritize projects and collaborate with Commercial Territory Managers to align quoting responsibilities and bid objectives.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding quotes, maintain open quote reports, update CRM records, and coordinate with third-party vendors.
  • Support credit and collection activities while managing the order credit approval process to prevent delays.
  • Prepare accurate project submittals and order documentation, minimizing manual adjustments and exceptions.
  • Coordinate quotes and orders for residential district projects in accordance with established guidelines.
