Requirements

  • 1–4 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or another customer-facing technical role
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and desire to build a long-term career in the space
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics
  • High curiosity, coachability, and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Based in Chicago or open to relocating there

Responsibilities

  • Support Commercial Sales Growth
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to drive opportunities across small and mid-sized organizations by supporting discovery, demos, and technical evaluations.
  • Learn Customer Environments
  • Join customer conversations to understand their infrastructure, security maturity, and business priorities.
  • Deliver Powerful Demos & Proof of Value
  • Show prospects how NodeZero helps identify real attack paths, validate security controls, and reduce risk.
  • Simplify Complex Security Concepts
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for both technical buyers and executive stakeholders.
  • Grow as a Trusted Advisor
  • Develop the confidence to answer customer questions, guide conversations, and help move deals forward.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve customer experience and share market feedback.
  • Continuously Build Expertise
  • Learn modern cybersecurity concepts, offensive security methodologies, and consultative selling skills from experienced mentors.
