About The Position

ABC Supply, North America’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Sales Coordinator to join its team. In this role, you will drive sales through lead generation of upcoming commercial roofing projects, assist in the estimating process for our customers, and facilitating takeoffs. Requirements

  • Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in commercial roofing sales/estimating
  • A solid understanding of commercial roofing products and procedures
  • Basic computer skills as well as experience with estimating software is a plus
  • Experience with takeoffs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Superior time management and organization skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-starting

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing resources, such as construction reports, to learn when commercial construction projects are coming to bid
  • Interpreting and reading blueprints
  • Completing estimating duties and facilitating takeoffs through Tapered Solutions
  • Maintaining current pricing from the manufacturers
  • Using expert application, installation and product knowledge to successfully meet goals
  • Maintaining and conveying all relevant competitive sales knowledge directly to management
  • Making recommendations and working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure acceptable margin levels
  • Utilizing lead generation programs to identify potential projects by market
  • Maintaining upcoming bid lists
  • Cultivating customer relationships and industry contacts within the market
