About The Position

Mid Valley Insurance is a leader in personal and commercial lines insurance sales, offering a comprehensive and proven sales strategy. We have contracts with top Independent Insurance Companies in Michigan, enabling producers to exceed industry standards. We provide a system and process that offers tremendous freedom for the right individual to flourish and make a great living. Agents/Producers are expected to sell at a high level, prospect for new clients, and conduct annual reviews with current clients to increase retention. The primary focus will be on growing their book of business across all lines of insurance (Personal, Commercial, Farm, Life, Health). Applicants must be able to pass all licensing requirements set forth by the State of Michigan.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively with all people, not just clients/co-workers
The applicant should be self-motivated. There is no ceiling on the income one can earn
Must be proficient at basic computer skills
The ability to write is imperative for success!
Must be able to pass all the licensing requirements as put forth by the State of Michigan.

Nice To Haves

Previous Sales experience is not required, but preferred
Background in insurance is not required, but preferred

Responsibilities

Prospect, Quote, and Sell for all lines of insurance
Do annual reviews of clients policies to look for ways to cross-sell for new policies
Freedom to be out of the office prospecting new clients(Commercial and Personal)
Must be able to fit into the culture of Mid Valley Insurance
