Commercial Roofing Service Technician I

Today, with more than 80 employees and a management team in place that has over 100 years of experience, JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for a Commercial Roofing Tech I at our Akron, OH location. You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
- Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
- Technology savvy

Responsibilities
- Roof maintenance and repairs
- Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
- Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
- Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
