About The Position

As a Commercial Roofing Service Foreman, you’ll be the face of our service division — leading small teams in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, ideal for an experienced roofer who takes pride in problem-solving, communication, and technical expertise. You’ll conduct roof inspections, investigate leaks, prepare accurate repair estimates, and complete warranted repairs while mentoring helpers and ensuring projects meet safety and quality standards. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who enjoys the challenge of fieldwork and building lasting client relationships.

Requirements

  • Commercial roofing experience (BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other low-slope systems).
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair leaks effectively.
  • Experience leading and training small teams in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication with both customers and coworkers.
  • Must adhere to safety and OSHA standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Ability to travel locally as required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of roofing production or service supervision experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty requirements.
  • Investigate and diagnose roof leaks, documenting findings accurately.
  • Perform and oversee high-quality repairs across multiple roof systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, Built-Up, Modified Bitumen, and Coatings.
  • Prepare and communicate detailed cost estimates for small-scope repairs.
  • Manage daily job reporting and ensure accurate time and material documentation.
  • Lead and train assigned helpers in effective and safe repair techniques.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards while fostering teamwork.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and safety equipment.
  • Represent the company professionally on-site and with clients.
  • Enforce job-site safety policies and OSHA requirements at all times.
  • Promote a safety-first culture through continuous training and accountability.
  • Maintain and inspect company-provided vehicles, tools, and PPE.
  • Serve as a trusted representative for clients, addressing concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, and office staff.
  • Document all service visits, findings, and recommendations using company software.
