About The Position
Seeking an Experienced Commercial Roofing Service Estimator/Inspector to join our local team! This is an in-office position with regular job site visits. As a Commercial Roofing Service Estimator / Inspector, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our customers while providing the technical expertise needed to support commercial roof service, repair, and maintenance projects.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of commercial roofing or related commercial construction experience
- Experience preparing service estimates and proposals
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, repair methodologies, and maintenance programs
- Ability to read specifications, work orders, and technical documentation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial roof inspections and site evaluations
- Assess existing roof conditions and identify repair, maintenance, and service needs
- Collect field measurements, photographs, and technical data required for estimating
- Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and service proposals
- Develop detailed scopes of work for service and repair projects
- Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing when needed
- Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and project execution requirements
- Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to customers
- Collaborate closely with Service Managers, Operations teams, and field personnel
- Participate in pre-job planning and post-project reviews
- Analyze estimated versus actual costs to improve future pricing accuracy
- Maintain organized project documentation and service records
