About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our growing team in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a hands-on project management role for someone who understands commercial roofing and knows how to take a project from handoff through successful completion. You’ll coordinate field operations, crews, materials, schedules, customers, subcontractors, safety, quality, and project financials. If you know commercial roofing, can keep multiple projects moving, and take ownership of your results, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

  • Commercial roofing experience strongly preferred
  • Previous Project Management, Assistant Project Management, Superintendent, or similar commercial roofing experience
  • Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, metal roofing, and related systems
  • Strong understanding of roofing installation, sequencing, production, and jobsite operations
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
  • Comfortable working with budgets, job costs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field crews, customers, subcontractors, and management
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed
  • Comfortable using construction/project management software, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial roofing projects from preconstruction handoff through completion and closeout
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, field crews, vendors, and internal teams
  • Review project scopes, contracts, plans, specifications, and change requirements
  • Monitor project budgets, production, labor, material usage, and overall job profitability
  • Identify potential delays, cost overruns, scope issues, and project risks before they become larger problems
  • Coordinate material deliveries and ensure projects have what they need to stay productive
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, building owners, and other project stakeholders
  • Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and schedule
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, documentation, project correspondence, and closeout requirements
  • Ensure work meets company quality standards, manufacturer requirements, project specifications, and applicable codes
  • Partner with Safety and field leadership to maintain safe jobsites
  • Participate in project meetings and provide accurate updates on schedule, production, costs, and outstanding issues
  • Help resolve field challenges quickly and keep projects moving toward completion
