About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Foreman will be responsible for conducting daily onsite safety briefs, ensuring project communication, managing crew performance, and overseeing project completion according to scope and specifications. This role involves managing crew start and end times, ensuring availability of tools and materials, and conducting quality walk-throughs. The Foreman will also be responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory, reviewing project pricing for accuracy, and submitting projects over a certain value for approval. Additionally, the role includes managing and documenting the performance of Field Resource Representatives, taking corrective measures for employee and work-related issues, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years’ experience in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
  • Thoroughly familiar with metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily onsite safety briefs, inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools, and identify safety concerns.
  • Complete and submit Daily Hazard Analysis forms.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any project, including communication with Sales Rep, WTI crew members, customers, and WTI Supervisor.
  • Manage crew start and end times and production rates.
  • Ensure tools and materials are available to complete assigned projects safely and efficiently.
  • Complete projects per the scope of work or specification.
  • Complete end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-throughs to ensure quality repairs.
  • Send before and after pictures to the Sales Rep and provide daily project status updates, including detailed work performed, materials consumed, and supplies purchased.
  • Ensure WTI Field Reps have a professional appearance and customer interaction.
  • Order, track, and monitor inventory, and ensure quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.
  • Review field service projects over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.
  • Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer.
  • Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
  • Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
  • Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
