About The Position
Tecta America New England is hiring commercial roofers for production crews in Portland, Maine. Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers install, maintain, and repair commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, and PVC. The company offers full-time, year-round work, career advancement opportunities, training focused on employee safety and growth, and benefits. Starting pay is $25+ per hour, based on experience, with eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 and other compensation.
Requirements
- Commercial roofing experience is preferred; the company will train suitable candidates.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds or more and occasionally lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders.
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites and the warehouse.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
