About The Position
JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company, was established in 1970 and has built its business and reputation on doing what’s right for its customers, within the customer’s expected timeframe, and with lasting quality. With more than 80 employees and a management team with over 100 years of experience, JB Roofing is currently searching for experienced commercial roofers at its Tiffin, OH location. This role involves installing and repairing roofs using commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope (tile/shingles). The ideal candidate can work well in a team, perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety, and is comfortable working outside in extreme weather conditions, including lifting 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling, and climbing ladders up to 60ft.
Requirements
- 5 years of commercial roofing experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
- Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety
