About The Position
Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking experienced Commercial Roofing Mechanics in Aurora, CO. The company has grown significantly and was recently acquired by Tecta America Corporation, a major roofing contractor. This role involves installing and repairing roofs using various commercial roofing systems.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of commercial roofing experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
- Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety
