We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead field operations, manage roofing crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Position Summary: The Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial roofing projects and the maintenance department in the field. This position oversees crews, coordinates materials and equipment, ensures compliance with safety regulations, maintains quality standards, and serves as the primary field leader throughout each project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or other field leadership role
  • Strong working knowledge of: TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Roof Coating Systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Sheet Metal and flashing installation
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial roofing projects from mobilization through completion
  • Supervise field employees and subcontractors on multiple job sites
  • Schedule and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and deliveries
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within company quality standards
  • Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and fall protection requirements
  • Conduct daily job site inspections and quality control checks
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Monitor crew productivity and provide leadership, coaching, and training
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers, customers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and project updates
  • Identify project challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers while representing Jolly Roofing & Contracting in a positive manner
