About The Position

We are seeking an outspoken and driven Commercial Roll-Up Door Service Representative to generate field sales through direct sales calls on commercial buildings. You will visit industrial and commercial properties, introducing yourself to the operations manager/building manager. You will assess their sectional and roll-up doors, placing required safety stickers and notices about calling Raynor should the doors break on each door frame/track. Your main goal is to build relationships with property managers and secure commitments for maintenance and repair work. This role is Part-Time with Full-Time potential. We are open to considering Students who are only available for 18-20hrs/week with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in route sales, field prospecting, or industrial door services preferred.
  • Basic understanding of commercial doors, docks, or general mechanical systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle cold calls professionally building Raynor Hawaii’s reputation with all you meet.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds throughout the workday. Move safely through working warehouse environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Visit commercial buildings, warehouses, and retail sites daily to identify service opportunities.
  • Inspect commercial doors and apply mandatory safety and company contact stickers.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of roll-up doors to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards. Take pictures to help estimator with quotes if needed.
  • Present repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance programs to property managers and business owners.
  • Collect property data, maintenance history, and decision-maker contact details for the sales database.
  • Act as the face of the company by providing professional, polite, and knowledgeable consultations.
