About The Position

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a Commercial Retro HVAC Apprentice. This role involves representing the company in all matters related to the Service Department, particularly in retrofitting projects, and doing so professionally. The apprentice will analyze new projects to ensure goals and deadlines are met, manage time, materials, and manpower cost-effectively, and anticipate potential issues. They will also verify equipment upon delivery for correct voltage, application, and condition, and maintain a positive on-the-job demeanor that upholds goodwill, high moral standards, and ethical conduct. The position requires adherence to safety practices and procedures, and the ability to install HVAC equipment, associated components, and assemble/repair sheet metal and piping products (PVC, copper, carbon steel) according to job specifications and blueprints.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Pre-Employment drug screen, clean MVR, and background check required.

Responsibilities
