About The Position
Great Outdoors is hiring experienced Commercial/Residential Snow Plow Operators to join our winter operations team in the Washtenaw County, MI area. We offer a starting wage of $30.00 – $38.00 per hour. Requirements
- Prior experience operating a commercial plow truck is required, with a strong understanding of commercial plowing techniques.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Chauffeur’s License is required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial snow plow truck to clear parking lots, roadways, and access lanes.
- Apply bulk salt and de-icing materials precisely according to specific site requirements.
- Perform routine safety and function checks on plow equipment (lights, hydraulics, blades) and report repair needs immediately.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently using our advanced electronic tracking and route management systems.
- Maintain constant contact with dispatch and managers during storm events for real-time updates.
