About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our growing service team. This hands-on role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems across a variety of building types. The ideal candidate brings solid field experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally to service calls.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in single-ply roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC)
Demonstrated proficiency in Built-Up Roofing (BUR) systems
Demonstrated proficiency in metal roof systems
Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills in the field
Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage time effectively
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

3+ years of commercial roofing field experience
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Firestone, Carlisle, or similar)
Familiarity with basic roofing-related smartphone/tablet apps for reporting

Responsibilities

Perform leak investigations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial roofing systems
Respond on-site within 48–72 hours of leak notification from the Service Manager
Complete detailed, accurate work orders and service documentation
Communicate job status and findings clearly to the Service Manager
Operate safely and in compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards
Maintain and care for company-issued truck, tools, and equipment
Support other technicians and field crews as needed
