About The Position
What you will be doing: Represent institutional and private lenders, owners, developers, and asset managers in commercial real estate transactions and ongoing operations. Advise clients in acquisition, development, leasing, asset management, financing, and sale of office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties. Represent landlords, tenants, subtenants, and asset managers in structuring and leasing office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties. Work on significant lease transactions on both tenant and landlord sides. Join a growing and energetic firm with a small firm culture and large firm standards.
Requirements
- 3-12 years (6-12 years preferred) of experience in mortgage financing and sale-purchase transactions.
- Excellence in writing, legal analysis, and negotiation skills.
- Solid academic background and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be admitted in New York.
- Compliance with federal law for identity and eligibility verification to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with drafting LLC agreements is a plus.
