Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of project management experience within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects, particularly in a commercial environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diversified teams.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, ensuring alignment with SRS Building Products' strategic goals and delivering results on schedule and within budget.
  • Formulate detailed project plans, outlining scope, objectives, schedules, and resource needs, to ensure seamless progression and achievement of business objectives.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, and supply chain to achieve cohesive project implementation.
  • Direct engagement with external vendors and contractors, negotiating contract terms, delineating expectations, and ensuring execution aligns with project specifications.
  • Implement industry-standard project management tools and methodologies to monitor project performance, proactively managing risks, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Produce and deliver comprehensive project reports to senior management, articulating progress, challenges, and data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Systematically evaluate project performance post-completion, integrating lessons learned to drive the enhancement of future project execution processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the project management team, setting and achieving high standards of project delivery.
