About The Position

The Commercial Project Manager will lead, drive, and manage commercial construction projects from kickoff to final closeout. This role involves overseeing project execution, material procurement, budgeting, subcontractor management, on-site oversight, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in solar or electrical fields, and possess excellent technical and soft skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven success managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, build accurate material/labor estimates, and navigate project plans.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
• Solar or electrical construction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, drive, and manage commercial construction projects from kickoff to final closeout.
• Build out material requirements, generate accurate purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Conduct cost analysis and manage project budgets to drive profitability.
• Oversee subcontractor bid requests, contracting, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor on-site progress for both self-performed and subcontracted work to ensure compliance with building codes, QA/QC policies, and safety standards.
• Ensure all installations strictly align with project drawings and high performance standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between company leadership, customers, field teams, and vendors.
