About The Position

Elements Hospitality is a live-environment general contractor specializing in renovations for hotels, resorts, and senior living communities. We are licensed in 36 states and are known for our focus on planning, trust, and relationships. We are seeking a Commercial Project Estimator with a strong foundation in estimating and an interest in hospitality renovation. This role involves developing accurate and competitive bids by collaborating with estimating, operations, and business development teams. The position is primarily in-office, with remote work considered for candidates with relevant hospitality experience. The ideal candidate will enjoy complexity, collaboration, and understanding how planning impacts successful projects in operating environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years’ experience in estimating or related role in the construction industry and/or hospitality industry.
  • Experience implementing organizational and process strategies.
  • Self-management, time management, and drive are key to success in this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of MS Project, Blue Beam, and Excel.
  • Ability to work closely and cooperatively with sub-contractors, vendors, and customers.
  • Competency in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient and effective communicator with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely estimates for hospitality renovation projects
  • Perform takeoffs and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing
  • Participate in job walks and review drawings, specs, and site conditions
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and internal teams
  • Assemble clear proposals that balance competitiveness and profitability
  • Support proposal presentations, negotiations, and project handoffs
  • Maintain estimating data, processes, and cost information
