About The Position

The Commercial Loan Post Closing Review Release Specialist I is part of the Post Closing Team in the Commercial Bank Service Support Department. The position is primarily responsible for preparing and executing release documents and assists with collateral document research for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of various lending regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems for which there are no precedents.
• Ability to perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Adobe.

Nice To Haves

• Continuing education.
• One to two years of experience in commercial collateral, liens, or documentation.
• Knowledge of other bank proprietary systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete collateral lien releases on Commercial loans for the Commercial Lending Division.
• Make calls and send emails to obtain information needed to release the Bank’s lien or assignment.
• Research and use multiple bank and external programs to obtain information required for releases.
• Receive recorded satisfaction documents and mail them to appropriate borrowers as required by state law.
• Verify that all pertinent information is scanned to the core system of record.
• Remove and update exception items associated with releases or paid loans for covenant tracking.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing financial institutions, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Assist with special projects and other assigned duties.
