As a Portfolio Manager at ACNB Bank, you’ll serve as the backbone of our lending process—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and outstanding borrower experiences from origination to ongoing management. Your expertise will help us navigate complex commercial loans and deepen client trust.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant banking experience in commercial lending, ideally as an Assistant Administrator or Relationship Manager
  • Strong understanding of C&I, CRE, and construction loan administration
  • Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and the ability to manage complex credit documentation
  • Experience working closely with Credit Admin, Legal Counsel, and Loan Operations
  • Proficiency in collecting and analyzing financial statements, supporting loan closings, and managing borrower requirements
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and time-management skills
  • Exceptional communication and collaborative mindset—you’re someone lenders trust and clients respect

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Commercial Lending Portfolio: Proactively monitor and maintain the commercial loan portfolio to ensure timely extensions of lines of credit and hard maturity dates, working closely with Commercial Lenders and Credit Administration.
  • Oversee the Commercial Loan Application Process: Enter new loan applications into the system, track key milestones, and coordinate with Credit, Documentation, and Legal to ensure accurate and timely progression from application through closing.
  • Support Credit and Documentation Accuracy: Review commitment letters, closing packages, and loan documents to ensure alignment with credit approvals and policy standards; escalate discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
  • Collect and Analyze Borrower and Guarantor Financials: Maintain timely receipt, review, and organization of financial statements and other documentation to support loan monitoring, compliance, and borrower communication.
  • Administer Construction Loans and Ongoing Reporting: Collaborate with Construction Lenders to manage draw schedules and inspections and monitor borrower performance and collateral through periodic reporting and tracking systems.
