We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Plumbing Sales/ Estimator located in Milwaukee, WI. How you will contribute: Leverage your persuasion and relationship management skills through developing and growing a customer base focused on plumbing construction projects. Apply your estimating abilities through performing preliminary estimates for projects. You will review bid requests and gather drawings/specs, build estimates, and prepare proposals. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate estimates within the specifications and customer requirements of each project. The Construction Sales Representative is a technical expert and is, therefore, a key participant in bid/no bid decisions, in partnership with management. You will spend your time meeting with customers establishing/maintaining relationships and generating sales; estimating plumbing projects; and handling transitions to the project management team. Ahern offers the support of subject matter experts in the area of design and estimating for more challenging projects. You will have the ability to influence the financial performance of Milwaukee, WI regional work while assuming an active role in managing plumbing projects in conjunction with a Designer and Ahern’s field plumbing talent.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and growing a customer base focused on plumbing construction projects.
  • Performing preliminary estimates for projects.
  • Reviewing bid requests and gathering drawings/specs.
  • Building estimates and preparing proposals.
  • Providing timely and accurate estimates within the specifications and customer requirements of each project.
  • Participating in bid/no bid decisions.
